Greenback House is designed for a young couple in an established neighborhood in Petaling Jaya. The west-facing frontage of the house is designed with minimal fenestration to mitigate heat build-up in the evenings. Lean and slender windows are designed at the front of the house which faces the main road, to prevent potential break-ins and obviate the need for security grills.

The high volume living area faces an existing retaining wall at the rear. The rear is lined with creepers and will eventually turn the retaining wall into a green feature. All the other main spaces face the rear, for security and privacy considerations.
